Columbus Boarding and Training

Here at Columbus Boarding and Training we are proud to offer a variety of training opportunities for you and your beloved pet. Training is an important step in any dogs life. Not only does training teach your dog helpful and applicable commands, it ensures they are a well mannered member of your family. As well as manners and commands, training creates a long lasting deeper connection between you and your dog.

This program is designed to lay a foundation of good manners and commands for your dog that make your life easier. It will develop positive behaviors and help break bad habits. It socializes your dog which is a very important step in any dogs life. Training builds your dogs confidence, gives them mental and physical stimulation, as well as helps keep them safe. Basic Obedience Training is recommended, but not limited to, puppies at the age of 4-6 months old. This is the prime time for puppy socialization and to develop long lasting good habits.

At the end of training, we will teach you everything your dog has learned and how to continue working with them.

This program is a continuation of Basic Obedience to take your dog’s training to the next level. Advanced training teaches all the commands your dog has learned in Basic Obedience and transfers them to off-leash. In addition, it includes teaching them to come to you when they are called.

Our training program is fun! As man’s best friend, most dogs are inclined to please you… they just need to learn what does!
